ScreenDeath is operated by AK-Labz. These terms govern your use of the ScreenDeath mobile application and website (screendeath.io).

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using ScreenDeath you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

ScreenDeath is a screen-blocking application that restricts access to apps on your device on a schedule or on-demand. The app operates entirely on-device. We do not operate servers that store your data, and we do not require account creation.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use ScreenDeath. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

4. Subscriptions & Purchases

ScreenDeath offers a free tier and paid plans (weekly, annual, and lifetime). Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store or Google Play and are subject to the respective store's terms.

  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's store settings.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google per their refund policies.
  • The lifetime purchase is a one-time, non-recurring payment.

5. Free Tier

The free tier allows blocking of one app with no time limit. No payment information is required. The free tier may be modified in future updates.

6. Emergency Unlock

ScreenDeath provides a 30-second emergency unlock as the only way to remove an active block before it expires. This feature is always available and cannot be disabled. We are not responsible for any consequences of being unable to access blocked apps during a block session.

7. Device Permissions

ScreenDeath requires Screen Time (iOS) or Usage Access and Overlay (Android) permissions to function. You can revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings, which will disable blocking functionality.

8. No Warranty

ScreenDeath is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that app blocking will work in all circumstances, as it depends on operating system APIs that may change. We are not liable for missed calls, messages, or any other consequences of using the app.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AK-Labz shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of ScreenDeath.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the app or website.
